Binance, the major crypto exchange, has appointed co-founder Yi He as co-CEO alongside Richard Teng to lead the company’s global expansion and user-focused innovation.
Yi He, a Chinese business executive who has driven marketing and strategic initiatives at Binance, will now co-lead the platform with Teng to advance sustainable innovation and expand its global presence.
The appointment establishes a co-CEO structure that combines He’s innovative strategies with Teng’s expertise from regulated financial markets. Teng brings experience overseeing operations and regulatory compliance to his role leading the exchange.
He co-founded Binance with former leader Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, who departed the company. The leadership transition positions He as a key figure in driving crypto adoption and financial inclusion globally.
