Agents become the new companies that’s our thesis because once you have an agent and property rights suddenly they become ownable they’re new kinds of digital assets that are highly valuable

Part of the reason I got into crypto is because blockchains and cryptography are the only things that are stable in a world where AI can do anything it can do my work your work but it can’t break cryptography it can’t break a blockchain

Blockchains are not programmable expressive enough so what can we do about it
— Sreeram Kannan
We’re like oh maybe if there’s a standard layer which lets anybody supply trust and shared security anybody can build their layer on top that was our goal

We massively reduced the barrier for somebody to do that you can just write a program like you would write to deploy to a cloud write it in and package it into a docker container and send it to aig and compute it just run it off chain but runs inside a trusted execution environment

In a roll up you decompose into compute and and data and like data is stored on a decentralized archive but a roll up sequence of a single node is running it but you know if that node that node can’t lie because it’s whatever verifiable but any other node can always come and pick it up and continue on
— Sreeram Kannan
The main use case of crypto remains like just you know financial transactions whether it’s stable coins trading like these these use cases they don’t really need like you know gigabytes per second throughput
— Sreeram Kannan
We’re still in the proof of concept era of like high throughputs needed on the da side
