Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis has announced a new competitive structure to determine the top guilds that will qualify for its most significant esports event of the year—the Ragnarok Landverse Championship 2025 (ROLC2025). Known as the “Road to ROLC2025,” the tournament introduces a league-based system followed by an elimination phase to identify the top-performing teams.
The multi-phase competition spans two seasons, each consisting of scheduled weekly battles. Points are awarded based on territorial control within the game, with the highest-ranking guilds progressing to a final qualifying event. The top three teams at the end of the process will secure a place in ROLC2025
The initiative focuses on guild-based strategy and performance, with no option for solo participation. Rewards will be distributed across various stages, including a $30,000 prize pool for the first season.
The Ragnarok Landverse Championship 2025 is the culminating tournament of the year for Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis, a multiplayer online role-playing game. It brings together the strongest guilds from across the platform to compete at the highest level.
To reach this event, teams must qualify through a new pathway called the “Road to ROLC2025.” This qualifying competition is divided into two main stages: Minor Events and a Major Event.
The Minor Events consist of two seasons of league play. During each season, guilds compete in weekly “War of Emperium” (WoE) battles held every Saturday from 21:00 to 23:00 (UTC+8). Five designated castles are up for contention, and points are awarded based on control of these locations at the end of each match. The point values for each castle may differ between seasons.
The two Minor Events are:
All points earned across both seasons are combined into a single leaderboard. The top eight guilds advance to the Major Event.
The second phase of the tournament, called the Major Event or “Day of Domination,” begins after the two qualifying seasons. In this stage, the top eight guilds from the leaderboard enter a Round Robin competition. Each team plays against all others once, and their results determine seeding for a double-elimination bracket.
The three guilds that advance through this format will earn official qualification spots in the Ragnarok Landverse Championship 2025.
The first season, Dawn of War, offers a total prize pool of $30,000, distributed as follows:
The second season will have a separate prize pool, though details have not yet been announced.
Participation in the tournament is limited to guilds. There is no solo queue option, so players must either form or join a guild to compete. To register:
Once registered, players can begin participating in WoE matches during the scheduled event periods. Point standings and additional updates will be posted on the game’s official channels.
