Pirate Nation Launch New PvE Mode Infinite Tides


On-chain RPG Pirate Nation has launched a brand-new PvE mode titled Infinite Tides, a roguelite experience that gives players an exciting new challenge.

Available now, Infinite Tides sees players face 25 waves of increasingly-powerful enemies to defeat in their classic turn-based strategy format. With only one ship at your disposal and persistent health after each wave, shrewd use of the post-wave rewards will be critical in making it to the end.

Players that defeat wave 25 will get their hands on a limited-edition skin: Hanzo the Samurai – the first pirate to surpass the Infinite Tides.

What is Pirate Nation?

Pirate Nation is an on-chain RPG, built on Arbitrum, and available on browser for PC.

Developed by Proof of Play, players set sail to explore the seas, minting your very own character, improving your ship and battling adversaries at every turn. The game features a turn-based combat system, where forward-thinking and strategic nous are key to victory.

As the game progresses, players can join one of a number of factions, with each faction pitted against each other for domination of the seas. Build your fleet, sink your enemies and loot a wide variety of NFT assets and rewards – your journey is yours to create.

What is the Infinite Tides mode?

Infinite Tides is a brand-new roguelite PvE mode within Pirate Nation.

To start, head to the navigation panel on the left side of the screen to find the Infinite Tides icon. Playing this mode requires an Infinite Tides key; 3 are provided for free every 24 hours, whilst 3 additional keys can be purchased for 50 Gems.

Players must choose one pirate and one ship to begin their journey, and the game will provide you with 11 cards at the start. With each victory, you can choose 1 of 3 cards to add to your arsenal – or 1 of 4 cards if you’re a Pirate Nation VIP.

Completing all 25 waves in one run will reward you with the limited-edition Hanzo the Samurai skin – available until June 11. Dedicated leaderboards for the Infinite Tides mode are expected to arrive in future, helping you to see how you stack up against your fellow pirates.
