GCash’s GCrypto and BitPinas to Celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day with Immersive IRL Meetup in BGC

On May 22, 2025, the local cryptocurrency community will commemorate one of Bitcoin’s most iconic moments with a meetup in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. 

BitPinas x GCrypto BTC Pizza Day Meetup

Co-presented by BitPinas and GCrypto, this year’s Bitcoin Pizza Day Philippines celebration carries the theme “The ₱6.8 Billion Lesson — How Pizza Changed Bitcoin Forever,” referencing the now-famous first real-world Bitcoin transaction in 2010.

More than just free food, this year’s event seeks to explore the deeper story behind that transaction, highlighting Bitcoin’s journey, real-world applications, and the future of digital money. The meetup will also foster education, engagement, and collaboration within the web3 community.

Attendees will get to experience Satoshi Quest booth stations, interact with the crypto community, and take part in insightful discussions under the #CryptoPH Conversations program series.

Key Experiences and Program Highlights

• Satoshi Quest Booths” A guided journey through Bitcoin’s milestones. Each booth will represent a chapter in Bitcoin history with corresponding interactive challenges. Attendees who complete booth activities and quizzes will receive raffle entries and collectible “pizza tokens.”
• CryptoPH Conversations & Community Mic: A dedicated time for live panel discussions and community sharing, featuring thought leaders, builders, and first-time users.
• Voices of Bitcoin Booth (by BitPinas): A media activation where attendees share their personal reflections on Bitcoin. Select responses will be featured in a post-event publication and digital video.
• Special Guest Fireside Talk: The program will feature a keynote or fireside discussion with a distinguished guest speaker offering a unique and unexpected perspective on Bitcoin’s cultural impact.
• “Satoshi Starter Kit” Take-Home Pack: All attendees will receive a QR-coded card linking to curated beginner resources: crypto guides from BitPinas, GCrypto registration steps, and key educational content.
