I realized I’d almost gotten through Prime Day without writing anything about AeroPress. This is silly. AeroPress is terrific, and I can’t let my colleague, Martin Cizmar, be the only one to say so loudly in public. (Though, technically I say it in my guide to AeroPresses.)
Anyway, it is my strong belief that every home should have an AeroPress in case of emergency, or in case of travel or camping. I don’t know what kind of emergency we’re talking about, here, but an AeroPress makes the best-tasting coffee I know how to make when the power’s out—and I know I won’t be creating pour-over by candle-light.
An AeroPress is easy, and near-perfect: You just plunk down the coffee, you pour in the water. You wait. Then you plunge. The coffee is terrific, with none of the pomp of pour-over, the long wait of cold brew, nor the thick-bodied muddle of a French press. It’s a great cup, and it’s easy. And the “Clear” AeroPress line can be ordered in colors that match your kitchen decor, or your whole thing.
Anyway, since you have to have an AeroPress, you might as well have one for 20% off.
