Apple iPad Deals

The iPad to Buy

You do not need an iPad (8/10, WIRED Recommends), but now that iPadOS 26 allows for conventional windowing, you want one—for watching TV while you’re washing dishes or on a plane or perhaps even getting some actual work done. The A16 chip means that this is the only iPad in Apple’s lineup that doesn’t support Apple Intelligence, which, hey, might be a perk.

iPad Mini (2024, 7th Gen)

The latest iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is lightweight, portable, and near-perfect, and it packs plenty of power thanks to the A17 Pro inside. There’s also a decent 12-megapixel camera and support for the Apple Pencil.

An Upgrade-Worthy iPad

If you want something powerful but more portable than a laptop, then the iPad Air (7/10, WIRED Review) is right up your alley. It has an M3 chip like the MacBook Pro from 2023, allowing for smooth performance even with several apps running, plus better workflows for artists and improved gaming quality too.

Apple MacBook Deals

MacBook Air (M4, 2025)

The odds that a member of WIRED’s Reviews team is typing on one of these at any given moment are approximately 80 percent (I am using a MacBook Air right now). It’s one of the most popular laptops around and, unless your work is graphics-intensive, it’s all the computer you need.

The MacBook Upgrade

Apple

MacBook Pro (14 Inch, 2024)

The upgrade pick in our MacBook guide, and the most customizable option in Apple’s lineup, the MacBook Pro is a real workhorse with a lovely display and plenty of ports. You can expect smooth performance whether you’re writing stories, taking video calls, sending emails, or running apps.

Biggest Powerhouse

Apple

MacBook Pro (16 Inch, 2024)

The larger 16-inch MacBook Pro (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is similar to the 14-inch version (also on sale!) but has the new M4 Pro CPU. There’s a long list of nerdy upgrades you’ll get with that switch, and mainly, you’ll see slightly better performance. But our favorite upgrade is the nano-texture screen option.

Apple Watch Deals

The 10th Anniversary Apple Watch

Photograph: Adrienne So

All the changes to last year’s Watch Series 10 (issued in advance of the Apple Watch’s 10th anniversary) were designed mainly to make the Apple Watch irresistible once more. It’s thinner and lighter, comes in a black finish, and has an insanely large display that curves around the edges and shows off new watch faces, like Reflections, at even more viewing angles to random passersby. It still does not have blood oxygen sensing, which is preposterous given that every other fitness tracker has it, but it’s still the best smartwatch if you have an iPhone.

Our Favorite Apple Watch

Photograph: Apple

The best Apple Watch for the money is the Apple Watch SE. It doesn’t get updated as often or have the coolest features, but overall, it’s still a great wearable that works well and does everything you need a smartwatch to do. It’s a good choice for someone who might not take advantage of upgrade features, but wants to consistently track their exercise, use the new Vitals app, and it still has interesting features like Crash Detection.

The Outdoorsy Apple Watch

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is perfect for folks seeking a rugged smartwatch for outdoor adventures. This watch is capable of replacing your satellite messenger, your cycling computer, and your running watch, adding several handy features to the standard Apple Watch experience.

Apple Audio & Accessory Deals

Pro-Grade Earbuds

AirPods Pro 2 (With USB-C)

The second generation of Apple’s AirPods Pro are probably the perfect pair of Apple earbuds. They now have USB-C charging and sound better than the older iteration, in addition to all the helpful Apple features like Find My (and a case with a speaker to use it) and the new Hearing Protection feature that lets you use them as earplugs at concerts. (They also double as over-the-counter hearing aids!)

The AirPods Max

Photograph: Brenda Stolyar

I have a weird prejudice against the AirPods Max. They’re overpriced, and everyone knows exactly how much they are. (And the case looks like you’re carrying around a bra.) Still, they’re beautiful, and WIRED reviewer Parker Hall says they’re one of the best headphones he’s ever heard. At this very significant discount, that makes them almost a reasonable buy.

Keeping Tabs

Photograph: Amazon

Probably the best trackers for Apple folks, AirTags use Bluetooth connectivity and Apple’s special U1 location-finding chip to help you pinpoint their location in the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. Never lose your keys, bags, or anything else again.

Apple

Pencil USB-C, Second-Gen, Apple Pencil Pro

One of the most useful tools for your iPad, the Apple Pencil is great for drawing, marking up documents, and even just navigating around in iPadOS. The USB-C Pencil lacks pressure sensitivity and wireless charging, but it’s the cheapest. Artists should opt for the Pencil Pro. Luckily, both are on sale.

The Must-Have Accessory

HiRise 3 Deluxe

You’ve got an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods—charging all of them can be a nightmare. Just grab a 3-in-1 charger for your nightstand or desk. This is one of our favorites (we have plenty more in our Best 3-in-1 Apple Chargers guide), and it’s now down to a stellar price at $75 on Amazon. You can easily adjust the iPhone from portrait to landscape orientation (via MagSafe), and there’s a spot at the front for an Apple Watch that you can flip up for nightstand mode. At the back, you can place another phone or wireless earbuds.

Anker

MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station (Qi2)

One of the best 3-in-1 chargers for frequent travelers with a trio of Apple devices, this fold-up Anker charger will juice up your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods with ease. It is often discounted, but I’ve never seen it this low before.

Our Favorite iPhone 16 Case

Photograph: Julian Chokkattu

Atom Studios Split Wood Fiber MagSafe Case

The top pick in our best iPhone 16 cases and accessories guide is half price for Prime Day. It has a lovely eucalyptus oil smell, raised edges around the display and cameras, solid MagSafe support, and responsive buttons. It also looks pretty damn fine.

iPhone Protection

Defender Series Pro XT With MagSafe

If you have a habit of dropping your iPhone, this Defender Series Pro XT will keep it pretty and crack-free. The double-layer design combines a polycarbonate frame and a thermoplastic elastomer. It’s grippy, with clicky buttons, and isn’t too thick. It doesn’t even block MagSafe or wireless charging. You can also grab it on sale for the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, and 16 Pro Max.

More Power

Anker

MagGo Power Bank (10K) (Qi2)

Our favorite MagSafe power bank supports Qi2 for wireless charging rates of up to 15 watts. There’s also a handy kickstand, a two-way USB-C port on the left edge, and a power button with an LED display that shows remaining power and time to charge. It even works with your iPhone’s StandBy mode.

Charging Headphone Stand

Satechi

2-in-1 Headphone Stand With MagSafe Wireless Charger

This multipurpose gadget serves as a wireless charger and a headphone stand. It looks elegant, and the sturdy, rubberized base has no problem carrying headphones when they’re out of use. There’s also good cable management, which comes in handy if you use the spare USB-C port on the base to recharge your wireless headphones as they hang.

A Mac Mini Hub

Satechi

Mac Mini M4 Hub & Stand

This simple add-on for the M4 or M4 Pro Mac Mini elevates the computer, adding an opening on the back (for easy access to the power button without lifting anything) and expanding your port selection, offering three USB-A ports (two of which can deliver up to 10 Gbps data speeds), a built-in SD card reader, and a solid state drive enclosure in case you want to expand your storage.

Apple Education Savings

If you are a student in higher education (university or college) or you work for an academic institution, you can get money off a range of iPads and MacBooks right now from Apple. Here are the discounts. They aren’t amazing, but some folks prefer to buy direct, and Apple is offering an eligible accessory of your choice with your purchase:

Eligible accessories include AirPods Pro 2, Apple’s Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard, or even the Apple Pencil Pro. However, some of these require an extra fee, like $50 extra if you want the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation.
